Going far and wide, the character of Amarendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali in the massive hit ‘Baahubali 2’ has greatly moved and inspired its audience, and as a result, for the first time ever there were murthis produced that resembled Lord Ganesha sitting with a tiger and resting one hand on his neck, which looked similar to ‘Baahubali’s iconic stance in the movie. All ‘Baahubali 2’ fans across the nation manufactured a ton of these murthis during the Ganeshotsav and they sold like hotcakes on the occasion.

A prequel to ‘Baahubali’ was in the making which would have encompassed the life of ‘Shivagami’. It was to be released in the form of a web series. But after quite a considerable portion of the shoot, the project was shelved. There’s no clarity as to why it was done, and whether or not it will again be revived. However, even after 6 years of the movie getting released, fans still want to see more and more of the world of ‘Baahubali’.
