The earthquake, with a magnitude of 6.8, has taken a devastating toll on Morocco, claiming the lives of over 2,900 people, making it the deadliest earthquake in the country since 1960. UNICEF reports that approximately 100,000 children have been affected by this disaster.

Tinzert, once a serene village, has now been transformed into a landscape of destruction. Traditional mud and straw houses, never designed to withstand earthquakes, lay in ruins.
