The rainfall in Bharuch city resulted in waterlogging in certain low-lying areas, as reported by officials.

In its latest bulletin, the IMD stated that light rains were expected at isolated places in Aravalli, Ahmedabad, Mahisagar, Dangs, Navsari, Valsad, Junagadh, and Gir Somnath in the next 24 hours. Dry weather is anticipated to prevail in the state starting from Monday onwards.

Last week, widespread rainfall across the state led to crop destruction in various areas, and at least 27 people lost their lives, primarily due to lightning strikes. The state government has initiated a survey to assess crop damage and compensate farmers for their losses.
