Having lost a well-fought and emotional Test series 1-0, Pakistan once again fell short in the first ODI in Lahore by 88 runs. Chasing Australia's 313/7, Pakistan had nothing to show barring Imam-ul-Haq's fighting 103 and the 96-run stand between Babar Azam and Imam for the second wicket. Baring Imam and Babar's 57, no other Pakistan batters could cross the 20-run mark. For Australia, Adam Zampa finished with 4/38 while Mitchell Swepson and Travis Head took two wickets apiece. Earlier, Australia rode on Head's fine ton, Ben McDermott's 55 and Camron Green's 40 to go past 300-run mark. The second ODI is on March 31.
