The Xiamen International Marathon is an annual marathon race that is held in January in the coastal city of Xiamen in Fujian province of People's Republic of China. With over 50,000 runners at the helm, Xiamen International Marathon initially started back in 2003 and is also recognised by the IAAF as a 'gold label race'. (More Sports News)

Post Covid, the marathon had to be scheduled in April (2021 and 2023). After two years of being held in the month of April, the Xiamen International Marathon will be held in January.

Last year, the men's winner was Philimon Kiptoo Kipchumba of Kenya whereas the women's winner was Meseret Abebayehu Alemu of Etihopia.

The marathon will start at around 7:30 am local time and will have a capacity limit of 30,000 runners. The registration of the Xiamen International Marathon had opened on October 23, 2023 and closed on October 31, 2023.
