After Hrithik Roshan shared his first poster from ‘Fighter’ yesterday, now it’s the turn of Deepika Padukone to share her first poster.

She captioned the post as, “Squadron Leader Minal Rathore Call Sign: Minni Designation: Squadron Pilot Unit: Air Dragons #FighterOn25thJan #Fighter @s1danand @hrithikroshan @anilskapoor @marflix_pictures @viacom18studios (sic).” Have a look at the poster right here:
Deepika Padukone will be playing a helicopter pilot for the first time in her career. From what is known of the film, Minal Rathore’s character will capture the spirit of a revolutionary woman. She will be one of those characters who will try to steer and push herself to new limits and try to redefine the set norms for women in today’s society. Also, the character will try to motivate an entire generation of people.
With every character’s poster getting released day by day, the film is slowly and steadily starting to give more and more feels of ‘Top Gun’. The Tom Cruise-starrer film was a massive hit when it was released in 1986 and even when the sequel was released last year, the film was a blockbuster hit. Since then, audiences are eagerly waiting to see India’s very own film around aerial fighter plane combats. ‘Fighter’ seems to be the perfect answer for the same.
Besides Deepika Padukone, the film also stars Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. The film has been directed by ‘War’ filmmaker Siddharth Anand. The film, which promised to bring together a feeling of patriotism in the audience’s hearts is set to release over the Republic Day weekend in the coming year. It will also mark India’s 75th Republic Day, and audiences will be able to witness a cinematic marvel on the same occasion.
