Actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Vicky Kaushal, Sidharth Malhotra and Shahid Kapoor among others have wowed audiences by donning armed forces uniforms in the past. They have delivered some of the stellar acts by playing military, air force, navy and police officers in films. In the year 2024 too, the audience can witness an array of compelling projects where several Bollywood actors don uniforms on screen. They will star in some high-octane thrillers and will captivate audiences with powerful performances and gripping narratives.

Have a look at the list of actors who are all set to enthral us by playing characters in uniforms in their upcoming projects. 

Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor- 'Fighter'

'Fighter' is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Directed by Siddharth Anand, it has an ensemble cast including Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Oberoi, and Karan Singh Grover who has portrayed the roles of Air Force fighter plane pilots. The story of 'Fighter' revolves around “the deadliest terror attack on Indian air forces” in Pulwama and how the IAF officers avenge these attacks. Hrithik and Deepika play IAF officers in the film. It promises to have some high-octane action scenes. It has been shot at air bases in India with real Sukhois, Indian fighter planes. The movie is all set to hit the screens on January 25. 

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff - 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' brings together Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. It will be released on Eid 2024 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. Akshay and Tiger have stepped into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda. It is a rib-tickling high-octane action comedy that also features Prithviraj Sukumaran. Akshay and Tiger have donned the uniform of soldiers in it. 

Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar - 'Singham Again'

'Singham' is the much-celebrated cop drama franchise by Rohit Shetty. He is coming up next with 'Singham Again' which will see Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff among others. They will don the Khakhi uniform in Rohit Shetty's comedy-drama. The film will reportedly hit the theatres on Independence Day, August 15, 2024. The date is yet to be announced by the makers

Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty - 'Indian Police Force'

Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, and Shilpa Shetty have played police officers in 'Indian Police Force'. The trailer was unveiled recently where they were seen in a deadly mission. The cop action drama series will release on Prime Video on January 19, 2024. It is directed by Rohit Shetty. 

Akshay Kumar - 'Skyforce'

Akshay Kumar has played several characters in uniform. He is assumed to play an Indian Air Force officer in his upcoming film 'Skyforce'. The film will revolve around the significant triumphs of IAF and it draws inspiration from true events. It is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and Sandeep Kewlani. 

Shahid Kapoor and Pavail Gulati - 'Deva'

Shahid Kapoor and Pavail Gulati have come together for 'Deva' which is a cop drama. It will delve into their characters and the hurdles they face. The film is currently in the production stage and is scheduled for release in the final quarter of 2024. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the film also stars Pooja Hegde.

Saiyami Kher-Pratik Gandhi - 'Agni'

Saiyami Kher and Pratik Gandhi will be seen in the role of firefighters. The film is directed by 'Raees' fame director Rahul Dholakia. The film will have a compelling narrative and Pratik and Saiyami are set to bring something fresh to the table with their stellar acts. It also stars Divyendu Sharma. 

Raghav Juyal-Kritika Kamra - 'Gyaarah Gyaarah'

'Gyarah Gyarah' will see Raghav Juyal and Kritika Kamra together. They will don the cop attire for the first time onscreen. Produced by the Oscar-winning filmmaker Guneet Monga Kapoor and Karan Johar, the series promises to blend both drama and action. The gripping investigative fantasy drama has three timelines-1990, 2001 and 2016.
