Actor Mohit Raina will be seen in Disney+Hostar's upcoming show 'The Freelancer'. Mohit plays an Indian mercenary who is on a rescue mission to save a girl from war-torn Syria. The trailer released recently and the actor was seen doing some high-octane scenes. Going by the trailer of 'The Freelancer' we can say that audience can witness more of Mohit performing some death-defying action scenes?in the series.

Outlook India got in touch with Raina for a conversation where he spoke about how challenging it was for him to pull it off as he had a minor injury while shooting. However, Mohit called it 'part and parcel of the business'.

He said, "To be honest I have done a lot?of projects where the physical expect is important and there are lots of action. But unfortunately, at times there are certain things which are beyond your control. Before flying to Morocco for the action scenes, unfortunately, I hurt myself because of the sequence we were doing in Mumbai. I think I was in a little discomfort zone and apart from that I don't think?it would have been really correct to say that I had a lot of problems. It's a part and parcel of the game and the business that I had a small injury that I had to face during the project.''

The 'Ishq-e-Nadaan' actor credited showrunner Neeraj Pandey and the team for the support. "We shot this extensively in Morocco, so we had a huge team. I am really thankful and grateful that Neeraj sir and his team have really kind of supported me and they kind of helped me in pulling this off otherwise if you don't have the support of the team and people whom you are working with you can't really do much because it's physically very draining. But thankfully I got a lot of support from them to pull it off,'' he said.?

Mohit was also all praise for the action coordinator as he said, "Our stunt coordinator was from France and he has worked in?many Hollywood movies. His perspective was very different and his contribution is showing on the screen. Our Indian stuntmen have different perspectives and what he brought to the table was really different.".

'The Freelancer' also features Anupam Kher and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles. It is directed by Bhav Dhulia and is all set to stream from September 1.
