The 1.8-litre petrol engine is the same engine that powered the eighth-gen sedan that was sold in india. It produces 141PS of power and 174Nm of torque. The 1.6-litre diesel engine, on the other hand, is the same one that powers the CR-V. It has an output of 120PS and 300Nm.
Honda has equipped the new Civic with four front airbags, vehicle stability assist, hill start assist, electronic parking brake, rear parking sensors, rear ISOFIX child seat anchor and LED DRLs as standard. Meanwhile, features such as curtain airbags, Honda’s lane watch camera, LED headlights and sunroof are restricted to the top-spec ZX variant. The new Civic comes with a 3-year/unlimited kilometre warranty as standard while an optional extended warranty for an additional two years and unlimited kilometres is also available.
