The talk of next season is already started in the Mumbai Indians camp, for both good and bad reasons. Mumbai Indians, the most successful side in the Indian Premier League (IPL), have now lost five in five. And they are all but out of the IPL 2022 playoff contentions. But they have a very good team, with some fine young talents in their ranks. Rohit Sharma & Co can still make a good account for themselves, but other teams have already gained the hard yards, including Punjab Kings. Courtesy tonight's win, Mayank Agarwal & Co are now third in the ten-team table with six points (three wins in five). And they are one of the six teams with six points. Rohit won the toss and opted to bowl first. But Punjab took the initiative with openers Agarwal (52 off 32) and Shikhar Dhawan (70 off 50) stitching a 97-run stand in 9.3 overs. It was followed by a 15-ball 30 from Jitesh Sharma. For Mumbai, youngsters Dewald Brevis (49 off 25) and Tilak Varma (36 off 20) played stunning knocks. Ever reliable Suryakumar Yadav tried his best once again, hitting 43 off 30. But again, that's not enough. They lost by 12 runs. Odean Smith, who was hit for sixes by Rahul Tewatia in Punjab's previous match, claimed four wickets. Kagiso Rabada got a brace. Catch highlights and cricket scores of MI vs PBKS, IPL match:
