Education, Employment Priorities For First-Time Voters In Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada District
The polling booth in the Palnar village of Dantewada district saw high voter turnout – including a large number of women - today in the first phase of voting for the Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections. Twelve seats in the Bastar region went to polls on November 7 amid heavy security cover.
"Education and gainful employment of youth is the biggest demand for residents like us, who want good jobs and decent salaries. Voting is the only way to elect a responsible government," she said.
