The Enforcement Directorate conducted raids on Thursday at the premises of Raaj Kumar Anand, a Delhi Cabinet Minister and a prominent leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The operation is part of an ongoing investigation into alleged money laundering activities. Official sources have confirmed that the search operations are taking place at the minister's residence in the Civil Lines area and several other locations, with the support of CRPF personnel.

Raaj Kumar Anand, aged 57, currently serves as the Minister for Social Welfare and SC/ST Welfare, among other responsibilities, in the Arvind Kejriwal-led government. He represents the Patel Nagar constituency in the Delhi Legislative Assembly, as reported by PTI.?Notably, Anand is the latest AAP leader to come under the scrutiny of the central enforcement agency, following the investigation into the Delhi liquor policy case that has already ensnared several of his party colleagues.

In a related development, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate on the same day, leading to speculation that he may face possible arrest. Kejriwal had previously been questioned by the CBI in connection with the same case. Additionally, Manish Sisodia, a close aide to Kejriwal and the former deputy chief minister, remains in detention after the Supreme Court denied his bail request. Last month, AAP MP Sanjay Singh was also arrested in connection with the ongoing investigation.
