A meat shop near CRPF Chowk in Gurugram was attacked on Tuesday. The police said that there wasn't any communal angle involved in this incident.
Haryana: Stones Pelted At Gurugram Meat Shop, Police Deny Communal Angle
A meat shop in Gurugram, Haryana was attacked and the shop owner was also injured. The police are trying to identify the attackers but they denied its link with the communal clashes that took place in the state a few days back.
The meat shop attacked was run by Mohammad Javed who suffered minor injuries during the attack and the people pelted stones at his shop shattering a glass window.
Javed filed a complaint with the police and said that?he was working inside the shop when he heard the sound of glass shattering. He also mentioned that there were 10-12 attackers at the shop and some of the attackers wore masks and has sticks in their hands.?
Javed's nephew took him to the hospital after he was hurt by a stone which was pelted towards the shop.?
However, the police have denied linking?this incident with the communal clashes that took place in Nuh and spread into areas of Gurugram as well. The communal clashes from last week took the lives of six people and put the lives of the residents to a standstill.?
Following his complaint, the police told PTI that an FIR was registered against the unknown accused under sections 323 (causing hurt),147 (riots), 149 (unlawful assembly)?and 427 (causing damage) of the Indian Penal Code at Sector 5 police station late on Monday.
?A police officer said they are trying to identify the suspects and added that the attackers will be arrested soon.
