Amidst concerns over the recent death of a remand prisoner due to dengue fever in Rajamahendravaram central prison, where TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is currently serving time, party General Secretary Nara Lokesh has made startling claims of a possible conspiracy.
Nara Lokesh Alleges Conspiracy To Endanger Chandrababu Naidu's Life In Prison
He went on to squarely place the responsibility on Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, warning that any harm that befalls Naidu would be his accountability.
Naidu, who has been in custody since September 9 on allegations of fund misappropriation from the Skill Development Corporation, resulting in an alleged loss of over Rs 300 crore to the state government, is now facing an unexpected twist in his incarceration, PTI reported.
Lokesh took to social media platform X to express his concerns, stating, "Remand prisoner Ganjeti Veera Venkata Satyanarayana from Dowleswaram, Rajamundry Rural Mandal, succumbed to dengue. Conspiracies have been plotted to subject Babu (Chandrababu) to suffer a similar fate."
He went on to squarely place the responsibility on Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, warning that any harm that befalls Naidu would be his accountability. Lokesh also reiterated his belief that his father, the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, was arrested under dubious circumstances.
Lokesh's claims don't stop there; he alleged that there is a sinister plot to endanger Naidu's life within the prison walls and pointed out the denial of bail despite a perceived lack of evidence. Additionally, he raised concerns about the prison's mosquito-infested conditions, implying that officials are turning a blind eye to this issue.
