Rajasthan Paper Leak Case: ED Sends Notice To Rajasthan Congress Chief Govind Singh Dotasra's Sons

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has send a notice to Rajasthan Congress's chief Govind Singh Dotasra's sons Avinash and Abhilash in a paper leak case.?

The ED had conducted raids on October 26 at properties of Dotasra and his son in connection to a money laundering case related to the leak of 2021 Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) question paper.

Earlier on Monday, the ED has also questioned Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's son Vaibhav for several hours. These summons and raids some just ahead of the Rajasthan assembly elections and the Opposition has called these raids politically motivated. Rajasthan is set to go to polls on November 25 and the counting of votes will take place on December 3.

NDTV reported that the ED's money laundering case stems from the several FIRs that the Rajasthan Police has filed in the case of paper leak.?

The report further said that the first raids were conducted in June 2022 and a number of politicians.?

"The probe agency after a series of searches on October 15 had said it seized ? 12 lakh cash and "incriminating" documents. Those whose premises were searched were Congress leader Dinesh Khodania, Rashtriya Loktantrik Party leader Spurdha Chaudhary, Ashok Kumar Jain, Suresh Dhaka and others," reported NDTV.

In addition to the REET paper leak case, the ED has also conducted several raids in connection with the Senior Teacher Grade II paper leak case and has made arrests and seizures, according to The Indian Express.?
