In a tragic incident on Monday, a 6-month-old girl lost her life, and her mother sustained injuries during a clash between security forces and Naxalites in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. The confrontation occurred around 5 pm in a forest near Mutvandi village under Gangaloor police station limits, where a District Reserve Guard (DRG) team was engaged in an anti-Naxal operation. Alongside the civilian casualties, two DRG jawans were also injured in the exchange of fire, as reported by PTI.?
