The former Lok Sabha MP was asked to vacate the government bungalow by April 22 after his disqualified by the Lok Sabha Secretariat, effective March 23. He was also sentenced to two years of jail by a Surat court in a 2019 criminal defamation case.

Rahul Gandhi was allotted a bungalow in Lutyens’ Delhi after his election as a Lok Sabha MP in 2004.
