Digitalization Of Core Industries For India’s Competitiveness

The Fourth Industrial Revolution and swift adoption of next generation technologies are driving rapid transformation in Indian industry. These technologies are also catalyzing the country’s goal to achieve 25 percent of its gross domestic product (GDP) from the manufacturing sector by 2025. Now, at the heart of this digital transformation, we see a massive role of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) which account for 45 percent of the country’s total industrial production and 40 percent of total exports.
