Bopanna-Ebden Advance To The Second Round Of US Open 2023

The sixth-seeded team of Bopanna and Ebden easily defeated the Australian team on Wednesday, winning 6-4, 6-2 in just under an hour (55 minutes).

Bopanna?(43)?and Ebden (35)?each made three of their five break points, denying their opponents any chance to break. The two had a 72% first serve success rate.

The Indo-Australian team, which advanced to the Wimbledon semifinals, took the lead 5-4 after game nine.?

Bopanna, who finished second at the US Open in 2010, and Ebden will play the winner of the first-round match between Aleksandar Kovacevic of the USA and Nicolas Moreno De Alboran and Andrey Golubev of Kazakhstan and Roman Safiullin of Russia.
