Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians have been the dominant forces in the Indian Premier League history, each claiming the championship title 5 times.

Rajasthan Royals won the cup in the inaugural season in 2008 and since then didn't see the rainbow.

Sunrisers Hyderabad clinched the championship in 2016, marking their first tournament victory, but has been struggling to find the moment of glory since then.

Kolkata Knight Riders owned by the Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan lifted the cup two times back in 2012 and 2014.

Gujarat Titans secured their inaugural IPL championship in 2022, a remarkable feat considering it was their first appearance in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore are still vying for their first championship victory in Indian Premier League. Lucknow SuperGiants entered the scene in 2021 and are determined to win the trophy this year.
