National Billiards And Snooker Championships 2023: Anupama Ramachandran Clinches Maiden Senior Women's Crown, Stuns Amee Kamani 3-2
Chennai cueist Anupama Ramachandran had joined forces with Amee Kamani to win the Women's Snooker World Cup, earlier this year. Now, the 21-year-old rallied to deny Amee the National Championships treble after her 6-Red and 15-Red snooker titles

“It feels special to win my first senior National title. And, to do it in front of my family, friends and the Tamil Nadu Billiards and Snooker Association community,” said Anupama, who bagged the final three frames 101-60, 101-82, 101-54. Earlier this year, Anupama had joined forces with Amee to conquer the Women's Snooker World Cup.?
Amee seemed to be in command after winning the opening couple of frames 102-41 and 100-55. But things soon went downhill for her. “I don’t know what went wrong. I think it’s just destiny, and I accept it. Anupama played really well after I took the lead,” said Amee after her loss.
