Bhaker, accompanied by her complete family members, reached the polling booth. Her parents, Ram Kishan Bhaker and Sumedha Bhaker, and her brother, Akhil Bhaker, visited their ancestral village in Jhajjar to vote.

On X (Twitter) Manu wrote, "As a responsible citizen, I proudly cast my vote in the Haryana Assembly Elections this morning. I urge all young voters to step out and vote in large numbers. Your vote matters."

Altogether 1,031 candidates are in the fray for the 90 assembly constituencies, as 20,632 polling booths have been ready for voting. The results for the Haryana Assembly polls would be declared along with those of Jammu and Kashmir on October 8.

The key contesting parties are the BJP and Congress in Haryana, and at the pre-poll level, an alliance had already been formed by the Indian National Lok Dal-Bahujan Samaj Party (INLD-BSP) and the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP)-Azad Samaj Party (ASP).

The Haryana assembly election is high-stakes battle as the BJP is going for its third straight term of office. Here, the Congress party is hoping to regain power by capitalizing on anti-incumbency sentiment and when it benefits from ongoing issues regarding farmer and wrestler protests.
