"Devon Conway has been ruled out of the fourth T20I against Pakistan after testing positive for Covid-19. Conway has been in isolation at the team's Christchurch hotel after testing positive yesterday. Canterbury Kings batsman Chad Bowes will join the squad today as cover," New Zealand Cricket confirmed in a statement.

Mitchell Santner had earlier missed the first T20I clash between New Zealand and Pakistan by testing positive for the same affliction. Santner later recovered and is leading the team at the time of writing due to the unavailability of Kane Williamson. Meanwhile, the camp also confirmed that bowling coach Andre Adams would be spending some time on the sidelines after being hit in the outbreak.

"Bowling coach Andre Adams has also tested positive for COVID and will also remain at the team's hotel. Canterbury Men's Development Coach Brendon Donkers will join the team for today's match to help out in Adams' place," New Zealand Cricket added.

The loss of key men will be eased by the fact that New Zealand have already won the series. They beat Pakistan in the first three matches to take an unassailable lead and confirm their triumph in the contest.
