After a successful inaugural edition in 2023, the Women's Premier League (WPL) will be returning for its second season next month. The schedule for the 2024 edition was revealed on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, with the defending champions Mumbai Indians slated to face Delhi Capitals in the first game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru exactly one month from now - on February 23. Women's Premier League 2024 Schedule Out: Mumbai Indians Meet Delhi Capitals In Opening WPL Match On February 23
Bengaluru and Delhi will host the entire 2024 season of the Women's Premier League. The five-team competition will see 22 matches being played this year. Here is the full schedule of the second WPL edition
The opening clash will be a rematch of previous year's final, which the Harmanpreet Kaur-led MI won by seven wickets. The full 2024 season will be played in Bengaluru and Delhi, with the latter city's Arun Jaitley Stadium hosting the Eliminator and final on March 15 and 17, respectively.
The five-team competition will see 22 matches being played this year, with the table-toppers in the group stage proceeding straight to the title encounter. The second and third-placed sides will take each other on in the Eliminator.

This season, among the renowned stars like Harmanpreet, Jemimah Rodrigues and Smriti Mandhana, attention will also be on seam-bowling all-rounder Kashvee Gautam and right-handed batter Vrinda Dinesh - both of whom had bagged hefty deals at the WPL mini-auction last month. A total of 165 players had gone under the hammer to vie for 30 available spots at the auction.
